That was Barbara Walters, and it's pronounced "twee"
MR. RUSSERT: AND THAT WAS AN UNEDITED INTERVIEW WITH THE SECRETARY OF STATE, TAPED EARLIER THIS MORNING FROM JORDAN. WE APPRECIATE SECRETARY POWELL'S WILLINGNESS TO OVERRULE HIS PRESS AIDES' ATTEMPT TO ABRUPTLY CUT OFF OUR DISCUSSION AS I BEGAN TO ASK MY FINAL QUESTION.
The Kerry Treatment:
"That was great John baby but we think you can do better. Start that statement again from the top and keep it pithy."
He got it from freeper McGruff.
Unfortunately Powell is constantly sandbagged on every appearance. It's worse when it's done by his own people.
The aide that speaks off the record making statements about Condi being a jerk or how upset Powell is about his treatment by the Administration. And now this, the press aide's manner in her treatment of Powell, allowing himself to go over the time limit.
This Adminstration have been accused [sound minds knowing falsely accused, considering we have no idea who the real enemy among us are] of being secretive. Any opportunity to expound on their reasons for making the decisions they've made should be worth the few more minutes on the record.

Talk to the tree Russert!
If you watched the show McCain was on after the trees and answered Russert's question about being Kerry's VP by saying.
First I'd like to have the cameras cut to the palm trees. Everybody broke out laughing.
Take that Timmy.
It probably helps that I only saw one part of MTP today, and it was Timmy giving his comment after the interview had just wrapped.
I did not see the interview, but just going by Russert I correctly interpreted the maliciousness and deceit of what he tried to pull here.
The interview was TAPED. The interview was scheduled for 10 minutes and went well over that agreed upon time.
I was able to perceive just from my limited viewing of Russert informing us it was a tape of an *unedited* interview, and armed with the knowledge that Powell was making appearances on almost every Sunday show, I deduced (duh) that this was a time issue.
There was zero need for Timmy to air that portion, unless he had a desire to embarrass the Sec. of State.
bttt
Emily Miller is in deep dudu. I'll bet Colin ripped her a new one after that stunt?
Say, you wouldn't happen to know how much Tim weighs, would you? I heard Laura Ingraham play the question from Larry King,
but she never played the answer.
(TIMMAY!)
ROTFLMAO Thanks I needed that!!!!!!!!
Heinz gives more to Republican causes. The only association Kerry the DORK has with my favorite ketchup is he married the widow of someone who inherited a fortune from her dead Republican husband, don't blame the Heinz Corp.
And Mae Craig was one h*** of a lot sexier than Helen Thomas!!!
Tim must weigh in at a deuce and three quarter.
Looks that way only if you're blind (and deaf and dumb).
You might have a point IF the interview was live.
It wasn't.
I wasn't happy giving up the Heinz gravies but I did it based on principals. I'll survive and so will my mashed potatoes!!
Please re-read my post. Heinz Corp has NOTHING to do with Kerry, Terri inherited the money from her dead Republican husband who must be rolling over in his grave, meanwhile records show the Heinz Corp has supported Republicans not Demoncrats in the past. It's just her last name, sort of.
What a nonstory
BTW what is it with Drudge these days? practically everything he puts up is attacks on bush or bad news for him.
