When the "prisoner abuse" media-sponsored hit on the president broke, I remembered, in the back of my mind, having seen videos of what torture in was like under Saddam. It figured, I though, that the mainstream media found pictures of U.S. MPs making Iraqis wear underwear on their heads was more gruesome than Saddam throwing prisoners, head first, off buildings.
Anyway, I just discovered that some new videos of Saddam's own brand of torture are going to be revealed. These are supposed to be much worse than what we have already seen. But, I figured I'd see if I could dig up the ones that have already surfaced, but that the media has suppressed. If you have not already seen these, I highly suggest watching:
Click . If you have trouble starting it with that link, go to the FNC page here and the video is there. The link to the video is mid-way down the page, and the actual video starts after a short Fox promo.
For more info on Saddam's brand of torture, check out this story.
Also, I have put aside a declassified British Dossier on Saddam's torture methods. It is quite grisly, and you can download it here.
I also found two of Uday's torture "home videos" floating around. The files are a little large (~7megs), but you can get them here and here.
If it weren't such a serious matter, Kennedy's and Levin's mock outrage at our MPs would be laughable.
This posting should provide some much-needed perspective.

(PS I'm finished with finals. Thank you all for your prayers!)
Bookmarked and bumped.
This isn't relativism, this is what was going on before we invaded and kicked Saddam out of his palaces.
The two are separate but how soon we forget how noble our cause is. I tried to watch one video of one of the sons beating soldiers I assume...Just the screams were too much for me.
Here in Texas we are providing 7 Iraqi businessmen with prosthetic hands to replace the right hands that Saddam had severed because he blamed them for the economy slumping. We also are providing plastic surgery to remove the mark of shame carved into their faces.
I'm downloading the last video now. The Iraqi detainees must be laughing themselves sick at us. We need to step it up, not sing nursery rhymes to them :-(
The steel for the finest swords is thrust into the fire 1,000 times.
But now it's time for beer, and lots of it. CONGRATS!
Ted Kennedy needs to be publicly humiliated for his outrageous comments equating our military with Saddam Hussein. How sad that those profiles in courage "Republicans" in the Senate haven't taken to the Senate floor to lambast that drunk, murdering a$$hole from Massachussetts.
Your finals are finished - Halleluiah! I will mark this thread JM, but I have to admit that I will not watch them, the stills are enough to sicken me. The poor people. I will pray that the Iraqi people's hearts will open to Christ and hear his voice that they may know the truth and be saved.
Can this type of Islamic punishment
ripple into America Law?
Read All About Islamic law, or Sharia in CANADA!
Canadian judges soon will be enforcing Islamic law, or Sharia, in disputes between Muslims, possibly paving the way to one day administering criminal sentences, such as stoning women caught in adultery.
Send everything to Hannity, Rush, et al, and president@whitehouse.gov my guess is that Hannity will support posting to his website. We've got nothing to lose but the election...
I agree .. Kennedy is WAY over the line with the comments he's been saying
There have a been a few Republicans that have spoken up .. but they need to be much louder

We're not using relativism. We're using a comparison. First being our guys are being punished for what they did. Second we're showign that we're nowhere near as bad as those "it's worse now" crowd are advocating.
FYI
Well I recommend K-lite++
Too bad most of the sites hosting it aren't in English.
perspective bump!
Jesus said, "Let those who are without sin cast the first stone".
These folks aren't stuck in the 7th century, they're still out there in AD 10.
All I could think of is "coming to a community park near you". We already have honor killings, as do European countries and Canada.
Let's wait until he gets a snootful, then film him stumbling around with a lampshade on his head. Naaah, people would just yawn and say, "there goes Teddy again".
