Like Hell!
You go right on FRiend.
Please accept my sympathy for your loss.
There are many thin people out there who believe they have some sort of universal nutritional/physiological expertise by virtue of the type of body they happen to be wearing... which makes about as much sense as believing you're a student of african culture and history because you happen to be black.
Anyone who argues with empirical evidence to preserve their prejudices about the character and habits of fat people as a group is an idiot. You shouldn't be ashamed to say so either.
Lord knows they wouldn't be.
You are completely right. I am staying on my soap box. Look out Free Republic! My sister in law was very big. She was stared at by the ignorant, given unwanted diet advice by just about everyone (mostly thin people who had no idea of how hard she tried),ridiculed and not treated properly at the doctors. Through it all, she kept her head up, had nice boyfriends (career girl/never married), dressed beautifully and was one of the most loving women I have ever known. This is far more important than being able to fit into your high school jeans. She was a unique and beautiful person and those too bigotted to see this did not have the opportunity to know a truly... great woman-their loss.
