Berg wasn't beheaded, he just cut himself with a Gilette razor. Seymour Hersch will be exposing the truth about that in next weeks New Yorker.
Now back to our coverage of the prison "torture" scandal.
"Doesn't Biden have anything else to do on Sundays?"
Biden is one of the most blowhard Senator there is. Not once can I remember hearing him say something that impressed me as being insightful. He's always trying to score political points.
And that is the gist of it all. Period. Emily probably wanted to interrupt the TAPING to advise they were running long, and late again, and since they were editing there was no problem. Russert stepped over my line with this BS.
Bumper Sticker seen in Tennessee: "If there hadn't been a Pearl Harbor, There never would have been a Hiroshima!"
I don't mind. We steal borrow a lot of his stuff.
I consider this my 15 mins. of fame.
PRISON PRISON PRISON RUMFIELD SHOULD RESIGN PRISON PRISON PRISON RUMFIELD SHOULD RESIGN PRISON PRISON PRISON
That's my preview.
Even FoxNews led with it. Not as much as ABC and MTP thankfully. Instead of watching these shows live while reading the paper I think I'll just start TIVOing them and blasting thru the BS segments.
Did you watch Russert bragging bis book on how many shows, abusing the public airwaves?
Don't they think they are accountable?
LOL
It was no problem until the potato over-reacted and MADE it a problem.
Add that to McCain's "saddened" and Biden's "I told the president we must..." and it was an ugly week for MTP.
UGH all the way around.
Exactly.
I did not stick around to see McCain and Biden.
Enough!
:)
Sponge Bob Squarepants might have a good show on as alternative. Certainly it is as close to reality as these RATmedia demonic fantasies.
I am going to watch the rerun of Fox as I missed Levin getting questioned by Wallace on why he did not call for hearings in March when it had been announced that 6 were held on these charges. He didn't have an answer so he dodged.
Yay!
Do a search on how many times in the last four months that billy the kid and brit asked do we have enough troops. I made a bet with my wife that they had the over and under bet in Vegas on the troop strengths. It seemed like they got a grand for every troop added.
Yeah, it's a National...no, make that World-Wide media pastime to attack Bush and his Administration, these days. We were just talking about that this morning, at my house. Can you remember a President that has gone through THIS much in such a short time??? --and, if you put his accomplishments vs. all that's been thrust upon him down on paper, what a remarkable report card that would prove to be??? YET, he's hounded by the press on nearly a daily basis.
The guy is showing the charater strength of steel.
I'm originally from MN, and I'm willing to say - This yankee is mighty impressed with this here cowboy!
To me, this nation is in a similar position to that of Luke in Star Wars--(don't laugh until you hear me out)--learning that in order to fight this new war (and the liberal press), you have to have such strong core values and sense of course, that you are working off an inner "force is with you" type thing--making the right decisions because you're so focused and balanced on what is right, to start with/from. I think that a President MUST have this inner core--call it what you will--or he/she will be swept away in seconds by the evil that exists around us.
These are important times in which to live. It will surely separate "the men from the boys."
Okay...end of rant ;->
NordP
And take note, how quickly Russert instinctively tap danced it into a plus for him, at Powell's expense..which I hope Powell remembers with vengence! (Of course, Tim was getting earpiece signals the whole time...from his producer.
The big news off MTP today? HA!!! That Tim Russert does edit his pre-recorded interviews. If he didn't, he wouldn't have acknowledged that today for a change, he didn't.
"Anyone notice how QUITE the press has been about skerry? Maybe because he can't be elected if the people hear his dumb ass."
The medias most potent weapon, when used skillfully to advance their socialist agenda, is silence.
I know how you feel.
A few weeks back when Condi appeared before the 9/11 commission, Richard Ben Veniste declared until he asked her at that moment the name of the August 6, 2001 PDB it had been secret.
A freeper found, and I made it a thread, an article from the front page of the Washington Post on May 19, 2002 that gave the "secret" (not) title of the PDB.
Drudge put the 2002 article link up on his page contrasted with a misleading article from 2004. I know he got the link from the thread I started (again--another freeper found the article, I just thought it deserved more attention).
The question I wish just ONE reporter had the nerve to ask a RAT on one of these shows.
"If thewar in Iraq was "just about oil"...then why is gas in some areas almost $3 a gallon???
