Limbaugh disgraced himself. His "frat boy" jokes about the torture they came under are sick to all moral people.

According to Rush he made the "Skull and Bones" initiation comment when the first (mildest) photos came out. I'm sure he has gone back through transcipts, etc. enough to verify this. None of the comments he has made over the past week have questioned or mocked the severity of these photos.

Well, since I don't see any sarcasm tag I'm presuming you're serious.

What "torture" are you talking about? Making them get nekkid? I hate to be the one to say it but YOU "just disgraced" yourself with this ridiculous post.

Rush said "Skull And Bones", not Frat Boys.

Being that both Kerry and Bush are "Bonesmen", that conspiracy nuts want to put that with Masons and Bilderburgers, that even a movie was made of the "nefarious" Order that is so secretive that no one knows what goes on in their windowless building during "Initiation", it was actually a very clever political observation.

Not surprised it went over your head.

I disagree.

When Rush said those things he was talking about the 1st photos. He was taken out of context too.

Many here myself included thought the same as Rush, and I know I have morals. Yes it was sick what happened over there, but so are many "frat boy pranks". Torture is not a word I would use to describe what happened. This is war and war is not always pretty, but torture is not what happened.

what is truly sick to truly moral people are the islamic muslim extremists - NOT Rush.

you are deliberately mis-informing people here about Rush by implying that he was talking about any real physical abuse taking place.

When he made that comment, the only facts known to us were the naked pics, the dumb mps smiling and laughing, the psychological breakdown techinques ....

THAT's TERRIBLE you say -- THAT's SICK! you scream and pound your chest and flail yourself as a zealot!

Those interrogation techniques are valid, trained for, open public knowledge (if you wanted to) and are the EXACT same ones used ON Americans during training exercises!

You probably need to change your name to BURKAH-man1 ??

Lighten up Dude. It might be a little sick but it isn't that big a deal.

I did a search on hazing on this web site last night and came up with example after example of high school and college hazing incidents that make this stuff look like chump change.

Is all America shamed when a senior football player sticks a pine cone in the hiney of a freshman. No. The football player is shamed. Individuals are responsible for their actions.

Your chest beating over this denigrates the memory of the Americans who marched to Batan, who were executed in the forests of Germany and who stayed at the Hanoi Hilton.

Apparantly the American's are really lousy at torture, The worst we can think of is panties on somebody's head. Nick Berg would have loved having it that easy.

The lense louse John McCain would have loved having it that easy. Instead he beats his chest as well.

The US is supposed to behave better than this, I agree, but the worst we have done looks like a hangnail to what has been done to us over the years and what continues to be done to us there.

In the early days of the war, the Iraqi's were executing prisoners of war.

First of all, it wasn't torture. Second, Rush made the "frat" comments when the first pictures came out, which were very mild. If you listened to him lately, he's been singing a different tune as more information comes to light.

Frankly, he was right about the first pictures. They were nothing more than you would see at a fraternity hazing.

You did NOT hear Rush say anything abour Frat boys or about anything else. You heard someone else make claims . You would not have made that comment if you had listened to Rush.

Rush's "frat boy" joke was hilarious and poignant - - right on the money.
By the way, what "torture" are you talking about?

Nah. That was not torture. That was a first reaction to a first bunch of pictures. There's a world of difference between torture and humiliation. It's probably the best way to get to these terrorists.

He was, as always, right on target.

Not at all. The media discraced itself by failing to look at the context. Rush made the statement on May 6. A caller said this looked a lot like a college fraternity hazing. Rush likened it to the Skull and Bones, since everyone has been making a big deal out of Bush belonging to S&B. (Turns out Kerry was, too.)

Rush said he wasn't justifying the Abu Grabe actions, but that these first pictures looked pretty tame. I agree. I saw a site the other day where they showed the Iraq pictures side by side with American fraternity hazing. The hazing was far worse. But Rush did say that Rumsfeld had told us there were worse pictures coming, and that they may not be in the same league.
