The father has no respect whatsoever in what his son believed in. Its disgusting that he turned his son's murder into a propoganda piece for his anti-Bush activities. What father would actually publicly come out and say "My son died for nothing"?

A father who puts ideology above anything else.

To be fair, many of those who support Bush and the war in Iraq have also turned Berg's murder into a propaganda piece. Some even think it should be "compulsory viewing."

I think Mr. Berg really believes this in his heart. I've always wagered that there will be the true-believer Libs whom, after the first terrorist Nuke devastates a US City, will blame the Bush (or Rep.) Administration - even as they struggle themselves, as the actual injured survivors - and of their very own dead parents and children.

I doubt we have heard the truth to this story. Hopefully, it will come out in the future.
The father also said, "They have killed their friend". Something isn't kosher.

I suspect the son was involved with the terrorists, probably at the bequest of the father. He was probably sacrificed by his father.

The same mindset of a son dancing on his father's casket to advance his party's agenda. The Wellstone funerally lives on.

Leave the man alone. There is no describing the hell he must be going through for losing his son. Suffice to say that you and I understand the truth of the matter... and offer prayers of peace and closure for this tortured man.
