It seems a bit disrespectful to be wearing the flag like that, especially on the inside of a garment. Just the opinion of a newly naturalized citizen, though.
We like to say we keep it close to our heart. The Union Jack is loved here too........
My thoughts exactly, and I'm a US native. I wish the flag would be shown more respect. It bothers me to see people driving around with dirty and ragged flags flying from their cars, and I wish they would either clean and sew them, or burn them.
