What's the deal with spacing of the posts?

There seems to be 2 or 3 paragraph breaks at the end of a post, but before the tagline and stuff.
Was there are change to the script that generates the page or something?
It looks all whacky.
Is there are keyword for these types of changes? I have been here almost 4 years, I guess I should know, but unfortunately I don't.

1. I'm definitely logged in.
2. I see it in IE, NN, and Mozilla, so ALL of my browsers show the break.
3. I know that I'm not going crazy. Here is a screen shot of what I'm seeing...
