Every once in a while I get a whining letter from some liberal complaining that because this is a local newspaper I should confine my thoughts to the Little League and tea parties.
Well, if there were general circulation newspapers that would confine their opinions to the editorial page and would blast both Democrats and Republicans as I do, then I would at least listen to their arguments.
The Inquirer for example places the political cartoons The Boondocks by Aaron McGruder and Doonesbury by Garry Trudeau on its comic pages. The liberal newspaper has employed a former major campaign worker for Bill Clinton as its managing editor.
The managing editor decides what stories are covered and where they are placed in the newspapers.
Maybe it's the general circulation papers that should stick to Little League and tea party stories.

I see where Delaware County Common Pleas Court President Judge Kenneth Clouse is accused of illegally registering his mother-in-law to vote from his home on College Avenue in Haverford.
I hope it is not true. It sounds more like a clumsy vote fraud trick a Philadelphia politician would pull.

There is a hilarious poll out regarding Sen. Kerry's dumbest moves to date. I will not repeat the choices here, but I will note that the whispers of dumping him in favor of Hillary are getting louder. Look for an exciting Democratic convention.

Rep. Maxine Waters, the outspoken California Democrat, laments that her mother did not have the right to have an abortion. Is that Sen. Rick Santorum (R-Pa.) nodding his head? He's thinking. He's thinking.

Chance that an American who was home-schooled feels this way: 1 in 25.
I know all of our children cannot be home-schooled, but they ought to at least have their choice of schools. We need vouchers now.

Unless Kerry himself quits, this ain't gonna happen. Legally, delegates must vote Kerry on the first ballot and Kerry has a majority of votes. It's a done deal. Kerry is so arrogant, so elitist and has such a sense of entitlement, he's not gonna quit. I'll take any bets.

Yeah, democrats are real sticklers for the letter of the law. If they don't even respect the US Constitution what makes you think they'll abide by their own rules?

Actually 'legally' has nothing to do with it. It is merely a party rule, and as democRATS are wont to do, they can change it at any time. Of course, even if it were a law, they would still violate it to suit their agenda.
