Opportunist John Kerry has sunk to his lowest low. This grave robber has met with Nick Berg's father in an apparent attempt to turn him into a campaign prop. As one FReeper notes, waiting 2 days to exploit the family of a beheaded American is at least a step in the right direction for Kerry. /sarcasm
John Kerry has no shame.
Give Kerry a piece of your mind here.
Write a letter to the editor here.
Alert your Congresscritter to this disgrace here.
I'd write a sample letter, but I don't have the time now.

The latest statements by Berg Sr. about his son ("they killed their best friend") along with past FBI interviews, Musawhi email connections, mean this could explode in Kerry's face.

JfnK's political antennae seem to be tuned to the wrong frequency.

Why do I feel that Becker and Benjamin are lurking in the background of this?

Oh I know. He can just keep on doing what he's been doing because he is not gaining against GWB no matter what is cycling through the news.

Why be stunned? The rats have voted the graves since the party was formed as the democratic republicans. Using the dead for political ends is old hat for them.

"Each time an American is killed the democrats dance with glee. They see each dead American as a lever to pry President Bush out of the White House. "
Yes they do. They probably hate themselves for it but they hate Bush more so they do it.
To: river rat
"I'm really stunned that Mr. Berg could stoop to use his slaughter son to make a political point --- and to allow a slime ball like Kerry to dance on his son's grave is beyond despicable."
It won't work because any rational person will understand that nobody forced the young man go to Iraq. He went on his own and would not take help from the FBI. That is crystal clear. I think the American public will not buy that Bush is responsible and will view this angry father teaming up with Kerry and blaming Bush as peculiar and inappropriate even suspicious. Besides exactly how will Kerry use this against Bush? This did not happen because of the way Bush has handled the war on terror. It happened because the young man was voluntarily running around Iraq without protection. And it is so strange that the father does not blame AQ. What a peculiar, creepy man.

did anyone else hear bergs father say "bush and rummy are as bad as al qaida?...just caught part of it on CNN.. Yes - caught a brief interview with him on the news. I feel for his loss - it must be heartbreaking.
Did anyone see the post in FR about the father being a member/former member of A.N.S.W.E.R?
To: rrrod
Yeah ...just as bad as AQuida. I was stunned! Would that Kerry supports his statement! Mind you that the body of Berg has returned Stateside and that his dad hates Bush is the only reason the story is running. The beheading thing was kept under the radar as much as possible whilst the Prison torture pics are given front page coverage over and over and over...
