This is something I wondered about. How can Joe Citizen just "go" to Iraq?

Don't know, I've had no desire to go, but I doubt travel would be restricted. Worst case, a complicated visa procedure (who issue the visa?). He seemed to have a relevant business reason, so I wouldn't think it would be a problem.

Earlier on the Gibson hour on Fox, Heather interviewed a friend of Berg's in Iraq, a business partner of some sort. He said there are independent businessmen all over the country, sounds like it's swarming with guys who've gone there to work.

I read yesterday on another thread that Berg had been making 11,000 pounds a month during the time he was there.

Sounds like there's money to be made there.

The friend said Berg was living the life any 26 year old guy would want, feeling carefree and immortal (paraphrasing a bit).
