3. The video did not look like his photograph.

All I can say is that if Mr. Berg were in Iraq by himself, then he was most likely not freelancing to try to land contracts to build radio towers. IMO, that would have had to have been a front for some other activities.

Why was Berg in Iraq? That story about restoring the communications antennas in Iraq makes my prosecutor's intuition tingle. He went to Iraq with no ability to speak Arabic, no capital, no equipment or tools, no connections to local businessmen, etc? I also find it strange that his father is a prominent antiwar activist. This isn't tinfoil hat stuff, it is just a bad cover story.

And this thing about Moussaui (however its spelled) is even stranger. I have to say I can't wait to hear more. This could get interesting.

Rather, his first thought seems to have been to get as much political mileage as he can out of Nick's death while the getting is good.

3. Um, check the OTHER photographs of Nick Berg. Not just the baldy-with-glasses(and heavy glare) one. Check out his HS yearbook(i assume that's what it is) photo. Hell, check a photo of me then look at a bad video tape. I've been told I look like a white boy, mixed, hispanic, a lil like OJ simpson!

4. His father is a leftist. My cousin is a raging anti-Bush guy. My grandparents made a turn to the left as they got older. My mother and I are staunch right-wingers. So what?

5. Did you look at the Abu Ghraib photos. These Arab men are not small and slight. They are definitely of average or even bulky build. Osama is 6-4!

6. As for the editing who knows? Maybe they didn't need to have anything in it but the 'Statement' and they tried to make it a clean jump from the statement to the cutting but failed. Does it matter?
