It is for this reason that I am of the mind that Mohammed could be "the AntiChrist". He certainly is an antiChrist.
He leads the followers away from Jesus and is a pretender to the throne. Mad Man Mo may not have claimed to be God but he dethroned Jesus and called himself "the last prophet" (meaning that no one can come and refute his words).
If Mohammed was just another prophet, why do muslims so honor his name and likeness (it is blasphemy to actually portray Mohammed)? Do other prophets get this reverence?

Actually, yes. You just don't hear much about Jesus (Isa) from Muslims.
But when you do, you get the version from the Qur'an, i.e. Jesus denied ever saying anything about being the Son of God [5:116], the Crucifixion was faked [4:157], God took Jesus alive to Heaven [4:158], Jesus died some time later [5:117], Jesus will be brought back in the Last Day to condemn the stupid Christians for worshiping Him instead of Allah alone [4:159,171-173].
Worshiping the same God?
