JW is serious PC and a leftist. In the one episode when Angel and the gang were moving into Wolferman and Hart building Fred hung up a huge Dixie Chick's poster in her lab. It was serious "Barf" moment but one has to put up with this stuff time to time in watching TV. Like in the X-Files where there was Clinton/Reno pictures in Skinner's office. Carter somehow forgot to add BUSH\Ashcroft pictures in the last two seasons just shows how left leaning Hoollyweird is.

Overstating, much? The theme of personal responsibilty and actions having consequemces is hardly leftist.

And serious PC?. From the introduction of the clueless warm, fuzzy, princiPAL in the first episode of Buffy there was a fairly steady mocking of PC.

As in the Liberal Guilt for Extermination of the Indians episode "Pangs"

Buffy : ... And native american.
Giles : Sorry?
Buffy : We don't say "indian."
Giles : Oh, right. Yes, yes. Um, always behind on the terms. Still trying not to refer to you lot as "bloody colonials."

And the closing moral of the episode where Willow, previous voice of liberal outrage, confesses.
Willow : It's just...Did you see me? 2 Seconds of conflict with an indigenous person, and I turned into General Custer.
