Of course Air America was torpedoed by the vast right wing cabal and George Bush personally with the help of Limbaugh, Hannity and O'Reilly. I couldn't be that people didn't actualy want to listen to this drivel and sponsors were offended by the hate speech.
To: nwrep
Yeah, OK, they're retooling their business plan. I can see why. Originally they'd planned to succeed.

The business model has changed with our on-air success over-the-cliff humiliating failure. But as libs, we're required to keep up the bald-faced lies...and we're not even embarrassed about it anymore. One more thing, we HATE Bush, he's is a stupid failure - unlike us, the educated elite. In fact, you're all a bunch of bigoted rednecks and we'll get even yet! Because WE are smart and have a national radio syndicate...just ask the Perky Katie Couric!

Looks like they are offended that they are being required to actually PAY their bills. Leftists to the bone. Let me know where they are buried so I can urintate on their grave on my next trip to LA.

This all a plot by the evil doers at NPR who are trying to stomp out the competition at Air America.

Serious errors in business judgment account for Air America's problems, rather than its slate of programing, say various radio industry insiders

Would that be the same type of needle they use in the execution chamber at Leavenworth?

The business model has changed with our on-air success. The fact that we are moving the needle so quickly with affiliates has surprised us and negated the need for us to control our own stations," Sinton said. SPIN, SPIN, SPIN. "..our on-air success." meaning what? That the dimocratic judge bailed their rears out of the refusal to pay problems. Maybe someone will inform them that they have to honor their financial committments. Nah, they just have to go to the courts and have them negate any contract. Disgusting!

The liberals don't get it. They see Rush, and think it was handed to him.
Rush had many years in radio before he became the Rush we know in Sacramento. I listened to rush for about three years while he was local (and he was much more fun then, but that is another story).
He got his chance to go national, but there was a risk. First, he wasn't getting paid. Do any of you remember the weekend RUSH TO EXCELLENT talks he used to do on weekends just after he went national. That was were he made money to pay his bills.
Second, the New York station that carried him for national did not think he was going to make it, and as part of the deal to use their studios he had to do a three hour live show locally for free.
Third, I don't think he was charging the stations that ran his show anything (that is he was providing the content for free, and giving them so many seconds of commercial time to sell locally, while his plan was to make money selling commercials nationally).
So in a true conservative fashion, he put his money where his mouth was, and took a gamble with his money, and time and effort, and the rest is, as they say is history.
When the full story comes out about Air America, I think we will find that all of the "talent" are pulling down a full salary and at some inflated rate.)

Roto Reuters does it again. They're "liberals" we're the "right wing". Well, count me proud to be a right winger!
Note to Air(head) America. Keep wasting that good Soros money, he can afford it! I wonder what they would do if the RNC offered to buy some airtime? Of course that would never happen. We would only reach about 400 people (200 in Frisco, 198 in New York, and those 2 in Liberal, Kansas).
I heard that GM pulled their adds due to the hate speach.....Bubbye!!!
