It's a heavy burden our president carries for us and he has our prayers.

Wise choice.
I realized that I was sinking emotionally, and perpetually upset, and I don't think that's what God wants me to do.
I need to spend more time in prayer and in Scripture, and less time with the news........

Lincoln bore a terrible weight - the people were rending from each other. This president is bearing a worse weight - the people are rending from each other while simultaneously, all terror and hell (literally) is breaking lose in the world. And sadly, our media and the Left appears to be fanning the flames with their hatred and self-serving agenda. Were they to win in November, they would quickly be undone by the one fact they don't now see....the fact that all this is VERY real, and not a political game.

I know...that's why I chose the word "volume." It's much noiser now - 24/7. At least Lincoln often didn't have to deal with the inflammatory rhetoric until it arrived to his attention days later!

Thanks. I love the pic of the plane flying over a JfK rally with this message: "Florida is Bush country!"
Too cute!

I wish I could see the color of the tie when the President was the Pentagon with Rummy this Morning. I'd bet it was red.
There were a confusing plethora of pictures of the President walking to Marine1, walking from Marine1, and then walking to Marine1 to go to NIH and then back from NIH.
I wonder if he wore a red tie to the Pentagon and then a blue tie to the NIH "Education First" event?
In any case, all the photos were dated today and I saw some of them from his returning to the White House from the Pentagon this Morning, before he left for NIH. Wish I'd noticed the color of his tie when I saw them but I was in a rush to leave, and didn't pay any attention to the details.
I wonder if some of them are from previous days and Yahoo got me again?

You're right, ohio!
I think that is why I'm in a constant state of upset, I am watching too much ofthe news onthe TV and listening too much on my radio, I need a break from it too so I turned off my radio at work and listen to CD's and I turned off the tv set and started reading or I would turn it on to like the H&G channel or the History channel.
It keeps me from getting too upset. But I do tune in when I need to.

The following is from today's GeorgeWBush.com official blog:
Liz Cheney Blogs on the National Launch of W Stands for Women
It was thrilling to be part of the launch this morning of the W Stands for Women effort. Along with Doro Bush Koch, Elaine Chao, Ann Wagner, a number of terrific women members of Congress and other women leaders we announced the national steering committee. We were joined by over 200 women from across the country who will be a key part of our campaign effort to reach American women. We are so proud of this President and his achievements on behalf of American women, and women all across the globe. This was a terrific opportunity to begin to get this message out.
Since the 2000 election, we have consistently seen the gender gap shrink and we think 2004 gives us the opportunity to close it completely. On issues that matter to women and to all Americans, President Bush and Vice President Cheney are providing solid, steady courageous leadership. The President's policies are insuring continued economic growth, with nearly a million new jobs created since last August. With the No Child Left Behind program, this administration is making sure that all American children have the tools they need to succeed. The President is also committed to providing affordable health care to all Americans and has kept his campaign promise by providing senior citizens with prescription drug coverage through Medicare.
At the same time the President's leadership is keeping Americans safe. His commitment to homeland security, to fighting the terrorists where they live so we don't have to fight them where we live, and to supporting the spread of freedom all across the globe are critically important to victory in the war on terror.
It was exhilarating to see so many women this morning who are committed to working for victory for Bush/Cheney in November. We want to thank the millions more out there who we are counting on to get out the vote and spread the word about these critical issues. Thanks for all your efforts and keep up the good work!

Yahoo plays tricks on you.
It's supposed to say (File photo), but there are some that I know are old and are unmarked.
I think the one where he's walking toward the 'danger' (with the red tie?) is the old one.
I always figure that no one minds, though, even if we post something again. :o)

A business like lady today was standing in fron of the Federal bldg. holding a large sign, I support our troops.
I walked over to thank her. She said she had to do it.
She was getting honking horns and thumbs up.
It takes just one to get people thinking.

Lincoln bore a terrible weight indeed, with both sides being American.....brother against brother But both sides were GOOD guys too, and there was great honor on both sides.
This war is against evil...........as evil an enemy as we have ever faced.
That's why I'm so committed to prayer for the President. It's the only way the right will prevail.
And as for the media.............evil of a different sort, but evil just the same.......

Just when you didn't think the left could get worse, they do. The muck and mire they dish out is beyond comprehension. They are over and again showing their true colors...

You are all most welcome.
I'm happy to be subbing for Gretchen, who is subbing for rintense, as we all are!
And I need to give credit for the beginning of my tagline to the RWP. I'm just impatient for the justice!

Now, having worked through my dinnertime due to the difficulty my computer was giving me, I'm going to get some thing light fixed. I'm famished.
I'll be back later but probably not for about an hour.
Just in case I miss anyone, I'll say Good night to you now.
