"SEEMS" to show? Good Lord...AP strikes again.
To: JakeINJoisey
It can only "appear to show" if you haven't seen the video.

We are all well aware of the use of special effects by islamic militants, to get their point across without hurting anyone.

As if the poor guys headless body found on an Iraqi bridge doesnt prove the Video is legit.
I dont recall them ever using "seems to" in articles related to the prisoner abuse.

To: JakeINJoisey
If you look around - the "Seems to" part is a YAHOO artifact - it's not in the story - other pages have "Video shows..."

I think they meant "appears to show an alleged beheading".

I didn't watch any news last night. After viewing the video, I didn't see any point in getting anyone's spin on it. I drew my own conclusions.

This is certainly no time for fence sittering. There are no gray areas here so choose your side.

That didn't take long. The DUers were saying yesterday, shortly after viewing the video, that it was either a mannequin, or if it was real, it was probably CIA hiding behind those masks. I guess the AP thought this was reasonable information.

This story seems to show that the AP is a valid news organization.

Well, at least they didn't go with "video shows signs of serious trauma to American."
