MSNBC: Nick Berg "Paid With His Life" For Prisoner Abuse

MSNBC reporter Brooke Hart just included Nick Berg in the story on whether Secretary Rumsfeld should lose his job over the prisoner scandal. She said that while that issue is decided, "an American contractor appears to have paid with his life" for the prisoner abuse. Also, because she acknowledged that former media hero Gen. Taguba said responsibility did not rise above the brigade level, we didn't hear his testimony. Instead we heard Sen. Carl Levin stating, against all evidence, that this was a "deliberate, purposeful" policy to use these techniques.

Incredible and disgusting. I guess MSNBC has decided that Al Queda beheadings are now a recognized part of the left wing "justice system." So Nick Berg paid the price for Rumsfeld's torture of prisoners.

I been saying the same thing as you for a long time now. It is a sorry state of affairs when you have people like Levin,Harkin,Byrd,Kennedy etc,etc, etc who care not one wit for their country and no matter the cost to get their power back. Sadly and quite disturbingly you are absolutely correct. The beheading of Nick Berg should remind us all how ruthless our enemy in the War On Terror is. The assertion that Berg was beheaded as fall out from the Iraqi prisoner scandal reminds us of how ruthless the left is in the country at advancing their agenda. I don't think those who fully realize what we are up against think Berg would have lived had their not been various indiscretions committed against Iraqi prisoners at Abu Graib by U.S. military personnel.
