If true, by which police? They would be in need of justice if that happened.

Iraqi police at mosul apparently.
John Huang2 has another article up that sortof sounded like the news break on a Portland Talk Station...
I think it may be unclear as to WHAT the man was doing there, the mosule cops detained him for several days... while the fbi questioned his parents about his work in Iraq... or something.
NO I DON'T know what that means.
The article does not go into details about his release.
the news report made it sound as if he was arrested by iraqi police for some unknown reason, and released, but was never hearrd from again...
MY QUESTIONS: Did one of our "new Iraqi" police force members, turn him over to the bad guys in retribution? or IS one of the Iraqi "cops" actually a quaieda member? and Why did no one know where the kid was, AFTER being "supposedly" released?
IF the new Iraqi police force was partner to this brutal murder... that group of cops, needs to face a midnight visit, OFF camera...along with their friends.

from John Huang2's article:
Berg's mother explained he was in Iraq to help rebuild communication antennas.
"He had this idea that he could help rebuild the infrastructure," she told AP.
The Pentagon confirmed a U.S. civilian was found dead in Iraq but did not release his identity.
The family says Berg was detained by Iraqi officials at a Mosul checkpoint.
"He was arrested and held without due process," Michael Berg told the Daily Local News of West Chester, Pa., at the time. "By the time he got out the whole area was inflamed with violence."
According to AP, the FBI on March 31 interviewed Berg's parents in West Chester. Jerri Williams, a spokeswoman for the Philadelphia FBI office, told The Philadelphia Inquirer the agency had been "asked to interview the parents regarding Mr. Berg's purpose in Iraq."
