[history]
May 12, 2004 -- WASHINGTON - A young American contractor in Iraq was mercilessly beheaded by Islamic terrorists on a horrifying videotape released yesterday as so-called revenge for the abuse of Iraqi prisoners. The sickening video, posted on an al Qaeda-linked Web site, shows a killer identified as terror boss Abu Musab Zarqawi sawing off the head of a screaming Nick Berg.

We need to show we have that big stick and are willing to use it right now or we will inspire more terrorism action against us.
This has potential to do what Clinton did to us with non-responsiveness.

Those trunks were shure not available when that girlfried died in his car though.
Ted is such a rotten creep and dangerous idiot for the terrorist. He posseses a pie hole that is dangerous for our people when we try to keep our deaths down.

If Clinton handled Bin Laden after he declared war on us when this was a small problem, 9-11 would have never happened and we would not have the deaths we have.

You avoid civilian targets that can be used as propaganda against us to build their armies against us.
You want to break the terrorist spirit, not create some religious need to respond to a call to arms on a regional level.

...denouncing President Bush as a "dog of the Christians"...Well, since I'm a Christian, and I absolutely love dogs, that's no insult as far as I'm concerned. (BTW, have I mentioned lately that those masked, cowardly, murdering scum are ass wipes?)

In the video, the executioners said they had tried to trade Berg for prisoners at Abu Ghraib. Why would they want to make such a trade unless the prisoners at Abu Ghraid were fellow hardcore terrorists? Obviously, they wouldn't. Leftists and even many deluded Freepers have been insisting that the "humiliated" prisoners at Abu Ghraib were mostly "common crimminals" and "total innocents" rather than terrorists, so hopefully this should give them pause.

It is depressing. First because their act is inhuman and a part of me wants to respond in kind but on a much larger scale. Second because I realize that responding in kind would just beget more violence. Those who initiate the use of violence are not morally equivalent to those who respond in self defense.

This site needs a little visit without reference to FR to balance out the liberals having a field day their in their pontification against Bush and the war.
Don't mention FR (source) and you don't have to sign up to post, but a presence needs to be made to clean that board up a bit.
This is now "THE VIEW" board where the liberal women like to talk. There are conservatives there like Duke, alecbaldwin666, karen and yo, but the rest are libs that needs some slapping down.
Please grab a few minutes and give them a little hell for our great soldiers and Americans fighting this war. The libs are infuriating.
Just make a pit stop, don't spend much precious time away from FR, also don't mention FR!

The concern I expressed was my want to respond on a much larger scale. Meaning, if carried out, innocent people would die as well as those I intended to strike against, which in turn would infuriate others to respond in self defense, thereby begetting more violence.
To: A CA Guy
You are absolutely correct. Unfortunately it does not appear, from Bush's statements a short time ago, that we are going to do anything extraordinary. I hope that my conclusions are wrong. This is clearly a situation where major, swift, decisive military action is required. If Bush does not act, we are clearly sending the wrong signal to all.

My opinion is a lack of IMMEDIATE response will strengthen terrorist resolve and will vastly grow American Soldier body bags.
I apologize for saying such a thing which I would pray God would stop from happening, but with a lack of response that they can understand in the Middle East, what else can we expect?
