we should be doing is honoring the young man slain and reminding everyone that this is the true face of IslamWe should mourn the loss of this American. However, this is NOT the true face of Islam anymore than the Aryan Nation Church or the Oklahoma City bombing is the "true face of Christianity." Rather, this torture killing is an example of an especially violent, influential, and widespread (maybe 5 to 10 percent maximum of worldwide Muslims support acts like this) Islam.

Yes, this is what President Bush insists and it is true. Heck, the President himself is even good friends with Prince Bandahar (spelling?) of Saudi Arabia!
It is regrettable that certain dunderheaded freepers think all of Islam is our enemy. The President has never said this; and anyone who asserts otherwise is at variance with current Republican doctrine.

I'm so relieved to know there are only 50,000,000 to 100,000,000 such people worldwide.

Especially since the OKC bomber was an atheist.

maybe 5 to 10 percent maximum of worldwide Muslims support acts like this It is more important to understand that the other 90 to 95 percent do not condemn acts like this.

Read the Third Terroist ...Mcveigh never claimed to be part of the Aryan Nation Church ( whatever that is) nor did he claim to be Christian. So that argument is nothing but a red herring. Moreover, this beheading is in fact the face of Islam as practised by the Wahabis. It can be seen through out the world. Islam is a religion born of violence. It is NOT a religion of peace but of submission. The young Catholic buy beaten to death over a five day period because he would not submit to Islam (this just happened in the last week), the churches being burned, the continuing Muslim slaughters of those who are not followers of Islam, those are the true face of this insidious and hate filled religion. If you live in the US and practise Islam then I suggest you start reading and hearing what is being said and done by your coreligionists.
