First of all, they guy they were supposed to have executed was a girlyguy. That is fairly obvious. I know what Muslims do to so-called *collaborators* which would be ANY Iraqi who cooperated with the Americans at all. It is possible that this guy was a Shaheed, but he looked drugged to the gills.
I compared this video to the one where they actually did murder a Russian Soldier. The two videos were remarkably similar in that the Russian soldier's death was real, and this video looked choreographed to time it at the moment of greatest pressure on Rumsfeld to resign.

Stop insulting the slain American. If you are saying that the murder scene was staged, that is ridiculous. If you are saying that they killed someone else and made him state that he was Nick Berg in some sort of ANSWER scam, well I can't refute it, but its way, way out there. Especially considering that several of his friends said that he supported the war. You do know that its quite common for parents and children to have quite opposite views on politics and such?

The differences in the picture are explained by weight loss. Earlier he had travelled to another country to do some aid work, and came back with almost nothing, so a loss of weight from stopping lifting weights, poor diet, not a lot of food available, heat, etc. is quite likely. You seem to have gone from considering possible explanations to irrational advocacy of a wishful theory. E

I do not believe the beheading was staged, yet something is not right with how this whole thing came down. Am more inclined to think we handed him over for what reason we may never know . . . .
