While I appreciate your continuing efforts to expose CBS's media bias...
I would also hope that, as a conservative, you would understand how airing the video of the beheading is "over-the-top" for American television. It is sufficient that the American people are aware of this horrific incindent, and it serves no valid purpose to broadcast the gory details. For that reason, I will not be contacting CBS as you request. I would consider such a broadcast to be in extremely poor taste and unnecessarily inconsiderate of the victim's friends, family and loved ones.

I just watched that video. I really dont want anybody to see it. I am very disturbed by it. I have seen some sick stuff in my day. But the haunting screams the gurgle and the neck break is just horrifying, while the bastard Jihadis dance and yell Alla Akbar. I am ready for a a real crusade now against these asses.

I understand the outrage, but think for a minute -- CBS, especially, is sensitive to something like that. The FCC has all the broadcast outlets walking on eggshells right now. The notion of the airing of the full video is probably sending the executives in to spasms right about now

They'd air it without so much as a second thought if it were American soldiers doing that to a Muslim. In fact, they would make a miniseries out of it so as to spread it around some more.

I know, and I agree. I don't expect them to air it for a minute.,

I would, however, like to hear Dan Rather, editor of the CBS Evening News, say: "We have received many letters and phone calls exhorting us to air this video, given the considerable airtime that the photos from the Iraqi prison has received on our news broadcasts. However, we cannot because the sheer brutality and inhumanity of this act make it unsuitable for the public airwaves. But I wish for you to know that this despicable, brutal acts is so far beyond the humiliation visited upon the Iraqi prisoners who inhabit the maximum security cellblock that they should not be mentioned in the same breath. The difference between our two societies is when a U.S. soldier commits a wrong, we expose and rectify that wrong. They celebrate theirs. May God bless our troops and the United States."

Think he'll say it?

I've watched the video. I recommend playing the audio of his death screams. No sense in playing the comments by the arab terrorists, they don't speak English.

The video doesn't need to air in full (although I ask for it), I do demand that the audio at least be heard by America.

CBS has been banned from my household for several years now. It doesn't matter what they have on - even football. (You have no idea how much a football fan I am, but I am more of a conservative than a football fan.) More real Americans need to just stop watching the three networks. People should shun others that mention they watched a show on CBSNBCABC.

Keep calling, folks! Let them know you're outraged at this savagery, and at CBS's biased coverage of "atrocities."

Just spoke with Teneesha and she said NO ONE, including Mr. Rather has voice mail (hahahahahah) and I the only way I could leave a message for him (or any staffer at CBS) was through her. Imagine a place like CBS NOT having voice mail.

the CBS Producers email is evening@cbsnews.com - all the producers check that email.

They said they have 15 minutes until air time and did not have much time to talk. She said I have no clue what they are going to air because the show had not even gone on yet.

She said I could call back after the show and she would be happy to discuss it.

My suggestion is to wait for the show to air and then Everyone Call Them!

Yes I am aware of it .. CBS are hypocrites and I'm calling them on it

There was no need to keep showing those photo's from the prison over and over and over .. They report told what happen

The nets CAN show it. There is no prohibition on footage of death. It is a standards and practices thing.

The protestor who was run over by a tank in China was aired.

Nick Berg's headless body was discovered Saturday.

Here is some Ratherbiased BS from CBS:

There was no way to be certain the tape was authentic.

This brings to mind the double standard during the Vietnam War. Photos of Communist atrocities were rather...um... scarce.

I can already hear Dan Rather on the See BS Nightly Report now .....

"Good evening. American Nick Berg was beheaded today in Iraq by Iraqi leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. This comes as terrible news for the Bush administration, who is already suffering the backlash after recent reports of horrible treatment on innocent Iraqis. Democrats in Congress are calling for a Congressional investigation on the matter ....."
