I hope these contentions are backed up by other sources and accessible documentation.

I think we needed to have Blix look for the abuse photos. He would never have found them.

Loftus is very entertaining, and often wrong. Loftus went on and on for months before the capture of Saddam that the U.S. got him on that first decapitation strike. His sources just could not be wrong.
He's pushing the WMD in Syria story now, which seems to have no legs. How many times have we heard this about the WMD into Syria? Can anyone believe that the Bush administration would not have pursued the idea of WMD in Syria if there was any truth to it? After the beating Bush has taken on the issue, they would have been all over Syria to get the evidence.
Loftus may someday find that acorn.

While the UN arms inspections had good intentions, the chances of them finding anything that Saddam didn't want them to was nil.
They would announce the site they wanted to visit, Saddam would tell them to wait while he got the site ready, then the UN convoy would roll out. Darn, no WMD again!

I heard recently that Bush was about to impose santions on Syria. I do not know if it was related to WMD. But you have to wonder.

What happened to the chemical weapon attack that was foiled in Jordan? I have not heard a thing about the contents of the chemicals since this was originally reported.

Not necessarily
They might figure they have a credibility problem and are waiting for undeniable proof

Thanks for posting this. The bad news is that the story is nowhere else to be found (web or print)...like Mansoor Ijaz's testimony to the 9/11 "Commission" :-(

What ? He helped facilitate it!

What they will not tell you is the Sadam had two spies on blix's staff.

Can anyone believe that the Bush administration would not have pursued the idea of WMD in Syria if there was any truth to it? After the beating Bush has taken on the issue, they would have been all over Syria to get the evidence. Actually do we know that covert teams are NOT in Syria looking for them? After the beating on Iraq, I would think anything being done with respect to Syria would be covert not overt. Just a thought.

Big deal, it happened under his watch, are you sticking up for this EU moron ?
