Kennedy, as it is with a lot of 'professional progressives', is a political pragmatist. He will cynically use any event to advance his purposes. Doesn't matter what is right, doesn't matter what is just. What matters is what gets votes and accumulates power.
That is, in a nutshell, the very thing that brought me here on this forum to oppose.
I grew up among Roosevelt Democrats. I don't do 'tradition', if it flies in the face of good sense. That is why I broke from the family's politics.
