The next time, the "victim" will probably shoot instead of holding them at gunpoint. That'll probably keep them away. Maybe they're smart enough to avoid going back to the same house and end up staring down the barrel of a gun again, especially now that the homeowner is probably all twitchy from the experience.
Almost everyone here in WV is heavily armed, and that was these guys' first mistake. I'm really surprised that the homeowner had the patience to hold these guys rather than just take them out right then and there.
Breaking and entering, or any kind of crime like this, is almost unheard of around here. It is no big deal to leave your house unlocked at night or your keys in your car. People know better. No surprise that these guys are out-of-staters. Most people around here involved in crimes usually are.

I misread...only one of the guys from the December robbery was from out of state.
The others were just stupid.
