June Vanity Fair's profile of hyperkinetic Bill Clinton is titled "Bill and His Shadow" but might have instead appropriated a phrase from Jack Kerouac, "running to stand still." If life's a buffet table, the former president can't keep his hands off any dish or condiment

He's the James Warren kind of "genius". Don't waste time on a Warren column. He's a tad too self absorbed.

A few years ago the leader of your Party decided that saving himself a little personal embarrassment was a higher priority than showing respect for the Truth the Rule of Law and Our Judicial System. So while under oath he simply lied. Then his minions ran around and in essence claimed that all politicians would do the same and look out for themselves first. You either agreed with Clinton or out of Party loyalty you found it acceptable that the President of the United States had placed his own desires ahead of concern for what is best for Our Country. Misplaced priorities, a question for Democrats

Bill Clinton has no genius, so he can't waste it away. Hillary's the genius in that strategic partnership -- evil genius, but genius nonetheless -- and we'd do well to keep our eyes on her, and not get distracted by Bubba's buffoonish antics.

Bill Clinton's genius wasting away in self-indulgence-ville Bill's only "genius" IS his self-indulgence.

 -
- In the end,
- if clinton's arrogant, ruthless, reckless nature is restored to him,
- it seems the joke will be on all of us,
- for it will be a victory for infinite victimhood and irresponsibility,
- for seduction, for violence, for nihilism, for anarchy.
-
- We will have set apart clinton as the hero
- by making his victims less human than he;
- we will have allowed clinton to carefully estrange us from his victims
- so that we can enjoy the rapes and the beatings
- as much as clinton himself does.

His so-called genius is just refined chicanery. He's a pro huckster.

His mother is dead and he has apparantly slipped Hillary's leash. He is famously self indulgent and erratic without one of his "controllers".
Watch for the mother of all personal scandals to erupt before too much longer.

The country suffered 8 long years of wasting away because of that pig's self-indulgence.

The self-absorbed egomaniac was ALWAYS self-indulgent...Where did the writer get the idea that Clinton has "slipped" into worshiping his own image...Clinton has a lifetime of caring only about his own sorry ass.
Remember the campaign theme he suggested for himself:
"You only get a chance like this once every one hundred years".....(now that is grotesque self-indulgence).
Christopher Hitchens penned my favorite Clinton description:
"He is an appetite in a suit."
