"Just following orders...Grunts scapegoated...Brass guilty of war crimes..." Sure. I'm sure Hackworth has unlimited access to all of the information the investigators have turned up and knows exactly what happened and what as done by whom.
Sheesh. What a "hack". (Apologies to cab drivers everywhere.)

Chris is having an LSD flashback to the 60's about this whole episode...maybe he'll forget where he is , do us all a favor, and re-up in the Peace Corps..

I can't stand hardball. I can't even watch fox these days. Other than talk radio and Free Republic, I'm boycotting news until after the election.

I watched it and learned nothing new. HACKworth is still a disgrace to the uniform he once wore.

I have always wondered about people who will sell their soul, their firstborn, whatever, all just to get a few minutes of TV time. It must be like a bad drug addiction or something where the rational part of the person is not involved.

I look at him and his gay looking sweaters and always think Frenchman. However, to be honest and fair, there are probably some Frenchmen with at least a basic sense of honor.

Hackworth was supposed to publish the names of the 17 Senators who received letters about the prison problems back in January.
Several Senators' names showed up in other threads, but no comprehensive list.
Some on the list apparently were HClinton, JRockerfeller, Reed, Byrd.

Chief...I gotta say I have always thought Hackworth is a bigtime phoney. He is all about Hackworth and not the soldiers advocate he makes himself out to be. Someday this phoney is going to be outed by someone.

He has been more then once, but he continues to be propped up by his friends in the media and the bastions of so-called conservatism like Farah and buchanan.

Sorry, but I don't weatch it. Chris Matthews was an employee of a Democrat President. He only is gruff with someone that might help Bush. One radio talk show host named it " Whiffle Ball". Sure was right!

(Compare the Circumstances)
The folks who are watching Hardball and who are posting commentary here constitute about 50% of Hardball's viewership.
That is all.
To: naystoshays
I watched and thought it was a "hack job"...pun intended.
Notice how Lawson said he contacted "15 or so" Senators INCLUDING THE REPUBLICAN WARNER without naming any of the others?
To Chrissy's credit, he did follow up at the end of the interview and say that MSNBC contacted all of the Senators and none of them have a record of ever being contacted by Lawson.
