While I have everybody's attention -- LOL -- I will report what I just heard on MSNBC:
The uncle/lawyer of the West Virginia soldier involved in the Iraqi photo scandal was on MSNBC this morning; he told the reporters that they had sent a letter to people in Congress in January.
Those who I can remember who got the letter IN JANUARY were:
Mark Dayton
Bill Nelson
Jay Rockefeller
Robert Byrd
Hillary Clinton
I didn't catch the other names, but those got letter in January informing them of the prison scandal AND the photos, according to this guy!

The President: "We have decided to do away with prisons. Instead, we will be putting then POW's into humvees, launching RPG's at them, the mutilating the charred bodies and hanging them from Brooklyn Bridge. That is all."
Actually, I can understand his need for issuing an apology, we will not lower ourselves to the level of these animals we fight - the terrorists. But I know President Bush is torn inside, knowing what these same people being held in the prisons have done to our soldiers. But he wants them brought to a legal justice where no one can fault us. Good move, good man.
End of rant.

I am not sure what this means. Did they actually send pictures?

From what I understood, the letter included information about the guy taking the photos.

So Don Rumsfeld and George Bush were derelict, but these senators . . . they were what . . . responsible citizens? What is their excuse going to be? The very people responsible for oversight, what will they have to say about this to the people that elected them to do that job?
