Why would you take McCain out of the equation? Did you hear him browbeating Rummy last Friday? McCain's Kerry's lapdog. I hope his name IS on the list.

McCain's name would have to be on the list. He has assumed the role as the "go-to" person regarding military matters.

If you ask me, they will be Republican senators up for reelection this year.
I flat out don't believe a thing Hack or Lawson say. You cannot tell me that not one member of Congress responded. Years ago when I had a military dependent problem that could not be rectified by the base commander, I wrote to my husband's senator, and we got answers very quickly and the problem was solved.
I just don't believe that all 17 would ignore this. Now we hear that they got form letters. Yesterday it was "no response."
Bah!

McCain was surprisingly on the 17 LEAST liberal senators on the link I showed above. I took him out precisely because he's Kerry's lapdog, Hackworth's not gonna incriminate him. In any case, I predict that it'll be all Republicans (with maybe one token Democrat--Lieberman) and they'll all be extremely conservatives (we won't see Collins, Snowe, McCain, etc. on that list)
