I'm former LEO and my current work puts me in contact with various local and federal WOT TF components. It is they who complain about the lack of assistance from that community.
If your wife is truly interested she should call directly to the SAIC in the nearest FBI offices.

We have many friends in law enforcement.
In addition we know many Iranians who have offered their services to fight the war on terror, including many in Iraq right now.
