Not quite, I've been married for 22 years and my husband still stands till I'm seated, opens my door, walks curbside etc...Believe me I know how fortunate I am.

I'm getting to the backside of 40 and never been married. I remember my girlfriend over 20 years ago (circa 1982, I think it was) calling me a "male chauvinist pig" when I opened a restaurant door for her one evening. Boy, was I young and stupid.
