We need bradleys, tanks, strykers, and old apcs.
And more of the ied finding buffalos.
the argument about armored hummers is moot, so far as I'm concerned.

Latest word from the field is that the armored hummers are not effective against the RPGs and bombs that are killing them. Well its better than nothing and if the Humvees can be made quickly until bigger stuff can be made, then they have a good plan.
Heavy armor takes more time to build. Give them the up armored humvees in the meantime.

This is why a purpose-built armored vehicle with a V-shaped, blast deflecting hull is better than a flat bottomed armored limousine. The M1114 takes that right up through the floor boards.
