In today's testimony before the Armed Services Committee Hillary Clinton may have revealed the source of the leak of the report. Please have a look at the relevant snippets of the transcript from today.
I guess my theory is this: If she isn't behind the leak, she knows exactly who is.

Careful on relying on thinking no abuse happened. People are facing charges for real abuse and Rumsfeld himself characterized the additional photos thus:
First, beyond abuse of prisoners, there are other photos that depict incidents of physical violence toward prisoners, acts that can only be described as blatantly sadistic, cruel and inhuman.

I bet you wish you hadn't played the "new Prince CD" now that she's really stepped into this stinkin' pile...Uh huh!

You're welcome!
I'm so pleased with SecDef Rumsfeld, I could just--bake a loaf of fresh bread for him! ;-D
My admiration for him and our President (already high) has gone up several notches since yesterday morning.

I heard that exchange as well and couldn't remember exactly what the Hildebeast had said by the time Rummy was finished with her. I thought he demolished her.
Good find, prairie. We're headed out this evening so if you find anything pertinent - could you ping me? Thanks!

I sent the president an e-mail yesterday expressing support for him, the WOT, Iraq, the soldiers and Rumsfeld. WIsh I had a link for Rummy specifically because I'd send him a great big hug!

I have absolutely no proof .. but Hillary's record of involvement in disreputable deals is legendary.
Knowing the organizations and high profile people she is reportedly in league with, I would not be surprised to learn she was directly involved in releasing the pictures; or at the very LEAST she knew who was involved.

Yes, I agree that the possibility of a connection between Hillary and the lesbian woman general is very interesting indeed.

I'm hoping you feel more optimistic, today.
We have the best President and SecDef we could possibly have for these times. What a blessing! ;-D

Hersh on the report:
PRISONER ABUSE FALLOUT May 3, 2004
Excerpt:
RAY SUAREZ: ...Seymour Hersh, how long ago was the report from General Taguba finished?
SEYMOUR HERSH: It was filed in February.
RAY SUAREZ: So it floated around for a while before it broke in the news? Where has it been all this time?
SEYMOUR HERSH: It still hasn't been officially released. And it certainly didn't make to it the higher echelon of the Pentagon, not only the chairman as you heard, General Myers, but also Don Rumsfeld said he didn't know much about it.
RAY SUAREZ: So was it the surfacing of the pictures that sort of pulled it into the spotlight?
SEYMOUR HERSH: You bet.
To: cyncooper
I was thinking they were leaked together, but then I noticed a reference to Hersh, and I think he got the report, but CBS got the pictures. Is it possible that this report and the pictures were together .. but that it was split up and given to different people to report on ?

As much as I would love to see something come of this, I think Hiterly and the RATS will come out smelling of roses.
The witch has too many files on too many Republicans (and RINOs). She and Bill will destroy any who try.

The focus on the pictures being released is, with all due respect, missing the point." ....but...but...wait a minute. When Republican congressional aides looked at computer files detailing domocrat plans to prevent confimation of federal judicial appointments, the dems said the access to memos was the point, not the contents of the memos.

Good grief .. I don't know what those people are .. but one this is for sure .. they aren't human

I have a feeling that SecDef Rumsfeld is not afraid of anything she can do. He publicly confronted her at the hearings. Most of us here heard it and noted it well. I think the she-thing may have met her match.

Yup, and I've changed my mind, to agree with you, :) especially after talking to my son (who is a Marine) about this.

I think the she-thing may have met her match. I agree and one thing I've noticed with Hellary throughout the years ... she does not handle confrontations very well
