[Rummy to the Hildabeast:] You say the report was well known. I don't know how you know that. All I know is when it made the public, when somebody took a secret document out of prosecutorial channels and released it to the press, I do not believe it was yet anywhere in the Pentagon. Certainly, I had not been given it or seen it. Gee, we all know how strongly the Dems feel about leaks. Remember how they pressed Robert Novak to name his sources in connection with the Valerie Plame affair (identification of the so-called CIA operative)? Where's the outrage now?

This may quite well lead to Bush's demise and I said this some time ago. Hillary and the Democrats have their spies planted and you have General's who play politics as well as any of our Senators waiting and pushing those Generals out above them wanting their day on the throne.
It is almost impossible in todays climate to consider anyone a career government employee. This is another movement the Clinton Administration put in place with the 'Travel gate" and Madam Hillary's acquisition of FBI files. This thing is deep and you should be able to see it with the likes of the Clarkes that are coming out of the woodwork. There is no security of any kind inside the beltway and it is the politics that are destroying America.
Our leaders sold us out a long time ago and our politicians are being out politicked by our foreign enemies in their quest for power at home. America has some very dark days ahead!

If we weren't winking at treason these days, these statements would likely stir some serious investigation into her heinous and her "sources."

... so many Freepers asked why W wasn't getting rid of them after he came into office. He should have. Clinton had the status of many of his appointees changed from appointee to civil service before he left office. Civil service employees are very difficult to fire. This combined with the huge number of executive orders X42 signed in the last days of his term left the Bush team with a lot of land mines.

Thanks for the ping. I had been lurking this thread from the beginning. I think someone is on top of something that's big!

Hmmm, who would be willing to bet the political affiliation of all the people involved in this.
I would hazard a guess that they are ALL democrats.

Yep - Miguel Estrada - never mind the actual damaging charges in the memos, but go after the "leaker" with everything they got.
My, my.

Thanks for the ping to this.
I am very excited that this got some attention here at FR.
Someone on the live thread posted a picture of Hitlery and mentioned she appeared white-faced and in damage control mode after the hearing. I hope this was mentioned during the discussion on this thread. I'll pay attention as I am going through it, and if not, I'll link that area of the live thread to this.

"The focus on the pictures being released is, with all due respect, missing the point."I completely missed that statement of Hitlery's...
I sincerely hope someone on her staff, or in her pocket, is able to be hogtied to this violation of the Geneva Convention. In fact, I believe that the release of these photos may be more of a solid violation of the GC than the harassment of these prisoners is.

A lot of responses since I left this morning. Good - I hope this keeps growing until there is an investigation of Hillary and CBS.

Hitlary
seriously slipped today and now may become the focus of interest by the Administration... creating a serious geopolitical crisis for her own reasons and putting soldiers at needless risk is far beyond the pale--I completely agree with this assessment.
I have no - and I mean ZERO doubt - that she and her minions are behind this. Before her slip-up at the hearing, I would have doubted this, but what she said and how she has reacted since have convicted her.

You give up to easy!
You must remember .. when people LUST for power, they lose touch with reality .. they make unrealistic choices .. they feel invincible .. they become careless .. Their carelessness is what we can take advantage of. Hillary believes she is all powerful and that nobody can touch her. That arrogance will be her undoing.

There is one thing that gives me a lot of hope, here:
Secretary Rumsfeld ABSOLUTELY heard that slip of Hillary's, WE all heard it, and are aware of his reply to her.
I have a great deal of confidence in Secretary Rumsfeld. He has been around a VERY long time, knows VERY many people, and can accomplish VERY much. Secretary Rumsfeld has allies, including President Bush. I do not underestimate his power.
If ANY person in this country has the ability to defang the beast, HE does.
I'm praying for him. He deserves every iota of our support, because he's going to need everything he has to do what needs to be done. After his comment, and hers, does anyone doubt that this battle is about to begin?

In Rush's Friday show, he made a very interesting comment about Hillary's statement:
In the first part of Hillary's question, right before we came out of the break, she was saying that you don't need these pictures to be revulsed. That just reading descriptions of these pictures is enough to revulse anybody. I'm going to tell you, folks. Mark the date, May 7th, 2004. She and others who say that are going to regret that they said it. I will say no more. I'm just telling you there's a good chance that if we learn all there is to know about this, that describing this as revulsing is going to be really offensive to some people.
Anyone care to opine on what Rush meant?

LOL! He marches to the beat of a different drum all right. He's never smoked or abused drugs or anything like that. Aside from being eccentric I think he's pretty smart. He puts all the new artists to shame. I'm glad to see him back.
