IS it legal for a campaign contributor to plead a case before a Judge that is the beneficiary of said contribution? Doesn't that smack of the possibility of quid pro quo? And in a life and death issue, isn't it crucial that a judge be impartial as all get out? ( I know-it should always be this way...but man...Pinellas County is one creepy, incestuous bed of thriving corruption when it comes to laying out rulings).

Make a note re: the quid pro quo. Someone just sent me a link for Florida Bar Complaints. I am too tired tonight to check it out. Ping me sometime this weekend. I'll see if we can find out.

Juan, a Terri supporter who shall remain anonymous looked up on the Fla Campaign Web site and noted that Debra Bushnell donated to Judge Greer's Campaign.

We are wondering if it's legal for an attorney in a pending case to contribute to the campaign of the Judge that is ruling in favor of said attorney. I have no problem discussing this in the open because the campaign donor lists are public information. ANY CAMPAIGN LAWS BEING VIOLATED BY GEORGE GREER?
