Just out of curiousity, did the DIs ever sodomize recruits with chemlights and broomsticks?

Some were whipped with rifle cleaning rods, beaten with fists and rifle butts across the cheeks, does that count?

I have fond memories of guys being put in wall lockers which were buried in the ground and then the wall lockers were filled up with water and many other things that I probably shouldn't mention...so I won't.

Not quite the same as being sodomized...btw....it is illegal for a DI to physically abuse a recruit and is seldom, if ever, done anymore.

I wore the marks of an M-1 front sight between my eyes for a very long time. Another, did you ever try to draw back an M-1 operating rod with your nose ? The DI’s in the 50’s were masters of their trade, and I still respect each and every one. Semper Fi, Marines
