You need to tell that to the idiots on this forum who are defending this barbaric action Can I ask a legitimate question? What about those of us who are apathetic about the actual events? My concern about the incident is primarily political (in a global sense). I have no reason to believe such activities are widespread in the U.S. armed forces and have every reason to believe it is unlikely to occur again.

I personally want to know if this is some kind of humiliation-based intelligence gathering method that has been effective. If so, we're probably going to have to come up with something else.
