Incidentally, go rent "Matinee" with John Goodman. A great movie, and a great 'period piece' of the early 60's.

"Matinee" is a great flick - although you'd have to try pretty hard to ruin a film based on the great William Castle! "Half man, half ant - he's MANT!"

Well if the BSA rejection caused him this much turmoil, then he was unstable in the first place. Poor baby! He'll never grow up. (Lots of SARC over his b*llsh*t.)

Why doesn't the SFA just start up their own program, instead of demanding that everyone else conform to theirs

You answered your own question :

I can't imagine that any responsible parent would put their children in their program; but that is another discussion.

There aren't enough people out there that support their views to make such an organization viable, and therefore they have to try to force others to change and fit their beliefs.
