I think you are right about the media and how they would act during WWII if it were to happen today

Can you imagine if this were WWII and Gen George Patton had to answer questions about MISTREATMENT of Nazis prisoners? He would laugh and think it were a joke of some sort.

What these dishonorable MP's did was BAD, but this commotion and uproar is absolutely NOT NECESSARY and is definitely UNDERMINING our war effort and if this continues, as I am sure it will with MORE photos and VIDEOS to come,.... NOTHING but a FURTHER demoralization of our TROOPS ON THE FRONT LINE WILL OCCUR and that can only go so far before FORCE READINESS is diminished by sagging MORALE.

The nation must realize this disgusting PUBLIC FLAGELLATION HAS TO STOP VERY VERY SOON!!!!

I predict he (Rumsfeld) will gone by this time next Friday. Probably after the weekend shows. I'll pick Tues. evening.

What makes you think that. If Republicans close ranks they will keep him.

They eat their own.

Patton was almost sent home for slapping a soldier suffering from "combat fatigue".

The image you painted (hypothetically) of Patton apologizing for abusing Nazis is unimaginable. I generally have a good imagination, but that is so beyond imagining that it's not working for me. LOL

Great analogy.

please contact the white house and let them know you support President Bush and Rummy.

I called and had to wait a little bit, but the lady was so kind and appreciated the comments. They must be getting bombarded by the DU/hate group.

They have to hear from those of us who support President Bush and his staff. She also, was so thankful when I told her I appreciated her and what she does as far as taking comments... She was a breath of fresh air.. compared to the hang up, I got when I called Hillary's office.

BUSH/CHENEY 2004...... more now that ever!

Oh,Gen Patton had to apologize to the troops for slapping a soldier in the psych ward.It caused a furor.

I want the Commander in charge of the prison,Kapinski, to apologize to our armed forces and the nation for dereliction of duty, not seeing to it her soldiers were trained properly and oversight was not done. She couldn't run a day camp.It was overcrowded, yes, but the report shows her personal failures and also the failure of those under her.

Why do I get the impression while we are fighting a war, we are also kicking ourselves in the ass at the same time?
