Can you imagine if this were WWII and Gen George Patton had to answer questions about MISTREATMENT of Nazis prisoners?

Patton was almost sent home for slapping a soldier suffering from "combat fatigue".

FYI..Patton was given a choice..a public apology to all the soldiers and staff at the military hospital, and he could keep his command, or refuse to apoligize and be sent home...

In todays world a General LIKE PATTON could NOT exist. My uncle served under Patton, during the Invasion of Sicily, HE HATED HIM, and LOVED Bradley.

During one of my many question and answer sessions with him about the WAR. I asked Uncle Francesco WHO was the better General between Patton and Bradley, unhesitatingly he said PATTON....then he added he was the BEST GENERAL PERIOD....this from a man who lost his leg while serving under that "ROTTEN S-O-B" as he often referred to General Patton.
