I am beginning to think that no matter what the truth is, what we say, what Rummy says,,,it makes no difference to anyone. They either like GWB or they are not going to vote for him. I cannot imagine who the undecideds are at this point. And the news is really really wearing me thin. I simply cannot watch it.

I think there are still voters who are able to be swayed in favor of the truth. That will never come from the Old Media, but each month they are losing power, so I'm not very concerned about that.
I recall that in '96 stating to a colleague of mine that "it doesn't matter that CBS, etc. maintain that they aren't going to show the political conventions anymore because 'all they've become is an infomercial' since we would soon be able to get all that more directly from the internet."
Old Media was definitely on the way out then, and as of now, it is irrelevant to those who are really the movers and shakers.
