Nervous Kerry to Dems: "Go Easy on Rumsfeld"; Repsonse: "Why are you trying to F**K me on this?"

John Kerry burned the midnight oil on the phone with Democrat members of the Senate Armed Services Committee last night. He pleaded with them to go lightly on Donald Rumsfeld when the Secretary of Defense appears before them today at around noon. Rumsfeld is scheduled to answer their questions about allegations of abuse by US soldiers against Iraqi prisoners and the ensuing investigation.
The photos of those alleged cases of abuse have enraged the Arab world. And Democrat bigs on the Armed Services Committee have called for Rumsfleds head.
But according to our source inside the Kerry campaign, John Kerry badly wants the issue to go away. Kerry fears the longer the issue stays in the news, the greater the likelihood his controversial accusations of war crimes committed by US soldiers in Vietnam including his own will become an ancillary issue in the campaign for President. The 9-11 Commission is already going to discredit Bush in their report. If we push things too far, there is bound to be a backlash, our source told us. Tonights cable news talk shows were proof. Virtually every one of them ran footage of John Kerry in 1971 trashing his fellow veterans and admitting atrocities.
Our source told us that the Democrat Senate Caucus had originally planned to rake Rumsfeld over the coals at todays hearing, but that Kerry wanted them to tone it down. Kerry had heated phone conversations with at least two key Democrats on the Armed Services Committee, demanding to know of one, Why are you trying to fk me on this?
No word yet on whether Kerry was successful in persuading his fellow Democrats to go easy on Rumsfeld or not. I guess well just have to stay tuned to the hearings.

Murdock is going to start another channel. He has not eliminated another news and info channel and I hope he puts one up that is as one sided as the general media bias is, except on our side. LOL! Exactly the same thought and hope crossed my mind and I'm sure the mind of most conservative viewers.
Murdoch is a very astute business man and I'm praying that the same thought has crossed his mind, too.
Wouldn't that be a hoot?

I cannot disagree with that, but Murdock saw something that no body but Rush had discovered and he is not done with the concept of Conservative media.
One can only hope!

I will never forget the ragheaded women jumping up and down, praising the towers attacks over in the middle east. That still ticks me off!!! One other note, I am completely suprised at the supportive comments, not to mention, common sense comments made by Lieberman... incredible he would come to the administrations defense.

Lisa Myers just did a piece on the Cavett interview contrasted with a 2001 MTP interview with Russert. Kerry was shown to be a total liar as to his belief about the Vietnam War then and now (2001). Unbelievable spot. Lisa said no one of these contradicting stances by and of itself would be fatal to Kerry but the cumulative effect could be.

Joseph I. Lieberman (Connecticut)
He is the only person with any sense on behalf of the demonrats, and I am shocked that he is backing this administration. I should say, suprised. I wonder how long he will continue to shed light on the demonrats ridiculous behavior. He even stated this morning that this coverage is dangerous for our men in the middle east, on Fox.

This is nothing but a concerted effort to trash Bush...
John Dean and his new book...
All the President's flaws
May 8, 2004
"George W. Bush and Richard B. Cheney have created the most secretive presidency of my lifetime. Their secrecy is far worse than during Watergate, and it bodes even more serious consequences. Their secrecy is extreme - not merely unjustified and excessive but obsessive . . . It has given us a presidency that operates on hidden agendas. To protect their secrets, Bush and Cheney dissemble as a matter of policy. In fact, the Bush-Cheney presidency is strikingly Nixonian, only with regard to secrecy far worse . . . This administration is truly scary and, given the times we live in, frighteningly dangerous."
The phone interview with Dean was no different: "All Bush does is campaign and raise funds, while Cheney runs the country," he says. "Cheney is so able and so shrewd that he lets George Bush wake up each morning thinking he is the President . . ."

Remember, the media said that they didn't want to cause undo pain to the victems... they don't give a damn about risking our soldiers lives, handing the Iraqi dogs any excuse to continue to murder and suicide bomb them. I wish someone would post the women in Afghanistan and Iraq, jumping up and down praising Allah for the Twin Towers attacks.... Americans need to be REINFLAMED...

Oh boy, Kerry has become a greater liability to the Democratic partisan hacks than expected.
This might explain why vicious Chuckie Schumer was being soft on Rumsfeld.
To: Terridan
Well, it sure seems that way...I thank him for his concern for the troops. I don't necessarily think that he is "supporting the administration" (i.e. his complicity with Gore in trying to steal the election). I think that he supports the troops more than he does the President.
And I still will never vote for Lieberman for POTUS.
BTW...did a FReeper really come up with "SoreLoserman" in 2000?

"But according to our source inside the Kerry campaign..."Any chance on your source sharing this tidbit with some of the honest press, eg. Washington Times, National Review, FOX?

It's been sent to them. What they do w/ it is up to them.
The Washington Times has picked up on one of our issues HERE and we broke a story 2 days ago about possible high-level shake ups in the Kerry Camp , and just yesterday The New Republic ran an article expanding on it.
Mickey Kaus also referenced that story we ran.
Not saying we're an oracle, but we think our source is good.

Marc Rich Tied to U.N. Oil-for-Food Scandal
Which could be problematic for the Hildebeast since this little gem recently popped up...
April 19, 2004 - [Aaron] Tonken has said that he's a star witness against the Clintons in a federal grand jury probe in New York into Mr. Clinton's Marc Rich pardon - and has been cooperating with the U.S. attorney in Los Angeles who's probing his fundraising activities.
