[history]
The participation of female soldiers in the mistreatment of Iraqi men at Baghdad's Abu Ghraib prison was probably the most dangerous aspect of the affair, Arab and American experts on Islam said yesterday.
They warned of reprisals by the victims' tribes as a possible religious obligation.

There is NOTHING a Muslim hates more than a woman who they perceive "humiliated" them.I wonder if they brought some of this upon themselves --- I imagine just the thought of women as prison guards infuriated them so much ---- women not wearing burkas following three yards behind them. You wonder if there was all took place that the women reacted in such a way. I imagine that these men were especially hostile finding out that women were part of the prison guard.

"I'm shocked ! Shocked to find
gambling going on here..."
We'll have to wait and see how this boomerangs. Being a hostage held by radical schizophrenic Muslims has never exactly been an afternoon picnic, as I understand. The boneheads who thought this was funny might stop laughing...

So I guess it's not "shocking" for Arabs Muslims to rape and sodamize women prizoners (Jessica Linch, Ronda Corman) or even male prizoners (SAS Sargent Andy McNab and his men) or to set people on fire and drag them and hang them and tear them into pieces. Or to castrate them (Chechens to Russian prizoners). And do'nt forget the brave Afghan mujahadeens who have tried hiding in women's burkas! Yeah, I guess Muslims should be shocked alright, yeah right!

Thanks for putting that together...it does all suggest psy-ops, does it not? Enrage 'em, and they'll scream--then we'll be better able to find 'em...

Yeah, right.... you just know all those muzzies are secretly fantasizing about having that chick put a dog collar on them when they're naked.

Democracy, in any form successfully established must inevitably weaken that culture. Could you expain me what this "democracy" is about? I hear that it is being introduced in Iraq, but it is not very clear how it works.

We wring our hands over what tribes think who still settle their differences by chopping up the bodies of their enemy's children and sending the horrifying remains to each other as a warning. This is insane.

We should have flattened that town, we should have melted that bridge.
Oh, I hate how angry that photograph makes me.
You are right, there's no comparison. I make no excuses for these idiot troops--I'd like to see them executed for what they did, but I fear we are showing the Arab once again, a great and perilous weakness.

"The dems in our country think getting naked in a pile is worse than being buried alive, set afair, being beheaded, or working in a Chinese Embassy that is 'accidently' blown up."
The tragic irony is that the Dems went to the supreme court to ensure that getting naked in a pile is perfectly legal in all fifty states!

OK, that's funny, haha, great joke, glad you are so amused by this, but--
--what would have to be done to you, what threats would have to be made, before you'd join a pile like that to be photographed in shame?
Is there a gun so big it could be trained on you to force you to do that, without you being beaten half-unconscious first?
I've learned you never give in to terrorists. If these Iraqis would learn that, we could get out of Iraq, and take our own handful of terrorists (I think you can call these nine that) with us.
But for over a generation these people have lived under a terrorist who had free and total control over his people, and gave his sons carte blanche to play with them like toys. I think the decent ones who would stand up for civilization were all killed off. :-( The rest of them are either wolves themselves, or sheep who give in, over and over, to terrorists. It must get to be a habit.
I get mad when I think of what these nine people did, but I also get mad when I imagine that they found lots of prisoners who would consent to be toys for their pleasure.
It'd be expensive, very expensive, for someone to try that on me. I'd have made sure there would be an investigation and lots of forensic evidence.

Funny, outside of Iraq a man being led around on a leash by a woman in a uniform is called a fetish.
Didn't Dick Morris suffer this same abuse in a Washington hotel some years back ?

Who said I was amused...who said I was joking? My point is that the the loudest complainers and trashers of the Bush administrations actions concerning this situation are the biggest hyppocrites when it comes to moral values. Didn't you see my words /TRAGIC IRONY/!? These abortion loving democrats calling for Rumsfeld's head have no business taling about human dignity and national morality...and Ted Kennedy can take another big swim!
