Average IQ by state and how they voted in 2000: notice a pattern here? WHAT A CROCK!

"Though the pattern is a bit striking, this chart was posted to be somewhat amusing. What isn't amusing is the study linked below. A significant percentage of Americans are factually incorrect about very important issues. These include whether we found WMDs in Iraq, Iraq's ties to 9/11, and Iraq's ties to al Queda and terrorism in general.
What's more striking is that of those who hold factual misperceptions of one or more of these issues, a vast majority support Bush.
Bush's support is directly proportional to misperceptions of facts. This should give even the most allegiant Bush supporter pause."

Go to the link and look at the chart and then read the article. They manage to say Bush supporter have lower IQs by state, that Fox News viewers are the majority of misinformed persons. It's liberal propaganda and lies disquised as a pseudo-scientific study.

I just posted this, and the instant I did, they posted some crap about the chart itself being a joke, but they're still laughing about tormenting Republicans and saying they're stupid.

The link you posted said it was a joke.

It's liberal propaganda and lies disquised as a pseudo-scientific study. Then why post it on FR?

Well, maybe it is a little silly to take it seriously?
To: TheLurkerX
Why don't we put legitimate statistics o n this thread. Anyone got a link to the study that showed that of the top twenty most generous states, all went to Bush in 2000?

Crappy timing. I accessed the article right before posting, and then after, the site changed.

Purile nonsense... I voted for Bush, and my IQ is more than four standard deviations above the mean.
So, there!

Know thine enemy? Helps to know what current crap they're spouting. The chart may have turned out as a joke, but check out the site and links.

The entire thing is laughable. IQ scores are based upon the results of valid IQ tests, not whether or not people have opinions that are "factually incorrect."
And I somehow doubt that these liberal dolts tested anyone.

It's a rather lame joke. If you want a corrective, go visit DU. (Wash your hands afterward).

I'm confused. Isn't Wealth of Nations the perfectly good economics classic from Adam Smith?? I can't find any other listing with that title..

Purile nonsense... I voted for Bush, and my IQ is more than four standard deviations above the mean. Am I correct to infer you were referring to the mean of the general population. If so, I am shocked since that means you are four below the FR mean. While not bad per se, I always thought you were just below me, four above the latter.

What is the std dev for IQ? It's like being rich and asking how much something cost. If you have to ask, then you wouldn't understand the answer.
