And next week something will happen to decide the election finally and totally, and then something else the week after that, and next month three or four things will happen and it will be "all over," and in July will be the Democrat convention and maybe his polls won't go up instantly and people will be saying "Kerry is toast," and then something will happen in August like some bad polls for the Republicans and it will be "all over for Bush," then the debates will happen and someone will flub something and it will be time to "stick a fork in him," and then another debate will happen and someone will lose and it will be "game over," and all through this there will be incidents in Iraq that will make some here say "It's all over," and then, well, then there will be the actual election. THEN it will be all over.
Funny how some folks think that everything stops every time some incident happens they don't like.
Well said. I had to laugh.
and then, well, then there will be the actual election. THEN it will be all over. and then there will be a withdrawn concession speech, and then the French-looking guy will say "You don't have to get snippy about it", and our troops overseas will have their votes tossed, and then the local "high" court will rule, and there will be an appeal, and then the next higher court will issue a stay, and the case will be remanded, and ruled on again, and then another stay will be issued, and then a ruling will be handed down.
Then it will be over. Until 2008.
