We're all kewl. It's been a long day. I protested at the courthouse. The media went to Terri's residence on the other side of town. I'm in a squirmish with HUD Human Relations re: myself. Again, someone in the City of Clearwater ruling against a woman. I had to do my own detective work today WITHOUT LAWYERS. I fixed that one I hope and then I heard about Terri on the radio. I drove straight from my own civil rights problem solving to Baird's courthouse.

I SIGNED UP TWO TELEMARKETERS AS VOLUNTEERS FOR HELP TERRI. They were hot. They'll go far. We need everyone we can get. This is tiring work. Agreed?

Just curious, is there a priest who is close to the Schiavos?

I'm taking a guess that you mean the Schindlers, right? If my mind is working ok, I think his name was Monsignor Malanowski, but I could be wrong. He is quite elderly, around 80, I believe.

As far as I understand, Michael is not Catholic, but his fiancee, Jodi Centonze, is, and she wants a nice Catholic wedding once Terri's out of the picture. That's one of the reasons divorce is out of the picture for Michael.

Hey Whee-whee, How many more people would you like to send to "join their heavenly Father?"

Jeffrey Dahmer sent quite a few, and so did the unibomber...

I noticed that. Did you see Connor's eyes? Talk about fire and steely determination!

Prayers continue for all involved on Terri's behalf, all the way through. Especially praying for those charged with her day to day care, that they remember there is a higher Judge than sits in Pinellas County. Good night, all. Thanks for posting this info.

Thanks. The closer we are, there is an urgency every single day to help Terri. We aren't smarter or better than anyone else who is doing their utmost but, WE CAN FEEL THIS.

FREEPERS: Some slack please on the "careful now, you may be accused of being a troll." THAT WAS NOT A FLAME, I was vetting.

If I define 'earthly hell' as being totally clueless about the meaning of life, you could then have no objections to being immediately dispatched to the great beyond.

because Felos is such a foul excuse for protoplasm.

Geez, you are lucky that you were even born at all....if the NOW folks had their way, you would not have been! They believe that all babies who have birth defects are not wanted, and should be aborted.

I for one am glad you are here! God bless you.

"Look at the life in her eyes..." -- EXACTLY! esp. as her mother fusses over her as only a mom can. That is what breaks my heart. Esp. 3 days before Mothers Day.

Felos et al are heartless goons.

All that talk about "what Terri wanted" as the reason to have her put to death, put out of their misery, as it were. Wonder if Terri would have wanted to be separated from her mother and all loved ones for 38 days? Or not allowed to have her feet rubbed, or her teeth brushed?

Thou shalt not kill

You will notice that there is no "unless your spouse decides" or "except under these circumstances" attached to God's commandment.

How hypocritical of you to say that God joined you with your wife in one sentence and then presume that you or your wife have more wisdom than his holy commandments in the next.

All of you people who are screaming for Terri's death are doing so because you are afraid of your own mortality, and all you can see is yourself in her position.

Cowards usually don't make very wise decisions.

You all need to stop thinking about yourselves and start thinking about what the consequences of legalized, FORCED death will be in our nation.

All it will take is one well publicized case like Terri's to set the precedence. The elderly and infirm will become disposable goods. The sick will be murdered in their beds to save the insurance companies a buck or two.

Its time for Americans to get tough, stop being selfish cry babies, and realize that Terri's death could quite possibly herald the beginning of the end of our 'so called' civilized society.

TODAY'S DATE: THIS NEWS ACCOUNT IS VERY SAD... This one really got to me. It should be COPIED AND PASTED INTO REGULAR EMAILS and sent far and wide.

Pat Anderson filed her most recent motion challenging Michael Schiavo’s fitness as Terri’s guardian April 26 in the same court where Baird presides.

Her latest complaint includes information about the Schindlers having been barred from visiting their daughter since March 29, after they were involved in an ongoing investigation about unfounded allegations against them involving Terri’s physical condition.

Since that time, Anderson said Terri Schiavo has been kept in isolation and has been prevented from receiving communion on Easter and has not been allowed to see her priest.

Referring to a recent statement issued by Pope John Paul II, announcing it is morally obligatory to continue artificial nutrition and hydration for people in a persistent vegetative state, Anderson said she is mulling over the implications of that statement for Terri Schiavo.

The Pope did everything but put her name on that speech, Anderson said. If we have the legal fiction that Terri would want to die, lets also consider the proposition that Terri, as a practicing Catholic, would not want to sin in the eyes of the church. I don’t think we can quickly assume that she would go against the Pope’s statement on this.

Terri Schiavo’s father agreed.

We totally respect the Popes opinions, Schindler told Florida Baptist Witness. Although we don’t need the Pope to tell us that we have to respect life, we listen to what the Pope says.

This is very important for Terri as a practicing Catholic, said Schindler. With the priest barred from her room and not able to offer her religious counsel and support, she’s 100 percent isolated.

Schindler said he and his wife Mary have only one thing they can do at this point.

Really, we are back on our knees again and haven’t been off them, Schindler said. These Pinellas county judges have displayed an utterly cavalier attitude and complete disregard for the law. They are aiding and abetting Michael Schiavo to commit homicide.

Mary Schindler said although she is upset about the courts ruling, she is equally concerned about the revocation of the right of the family to visit Terri.

She’s being denied her family, Mary Schindler said. I don’t know what they are telling her, maybe that we have abandoned her.

That’s our daughter and the kid’s sister and she’s being kept a prisoner, said Mary Schindler. Its almost Mothers day and I’m not going to be able to see her now.

The mother of three said there’s only one thing to do at a time like this.

I pray a lot for guidance and for strength and somehow it seems to come though, she said. It just tears me up that she’s isolated without any kind of stimulation and not even our voices anymore. That’s the bottom line.

Connor said the implications of the determination of this case are more far reaching that most might imagine.

There is a tremendous amount at stake in this case, Connor said. Are we going to be able to dispose of the weak and the frail and vulnerable because they are inconvenient and their quality of life is diminished?

Are we going to be sure that we can provide adequate safeguards for their protection? Connor asked. This case not only is about the sanctity of human life but about the role of various branches of government in protecting the right to life.

It appears that these WICKED Judges give more weight to what Terri's whoremonger husband says than what a friend, who has absolutely nothing to gain monetarily, says. However it can be done, these Judges on THIS case MUST BE REMOVED.!!

Judge Strikes Down Law That Saved Terri Schiavo's Life

by Steven Ertelt

LifeNews.com Editor

May 6, 2004

Clearwater, FL (LifeNews.com) -- As expected, Circuit Court Judge Douglas Baird struck down Terri's Law, the measure approved by the Florida state legislature that authorized Governor Jeb Bush to ask doctors to reinsert the feeding tube that provided Terri with food and water.

In finding the law unconstitutional, Judge Baird claimed the law violates Terri's right to privacy and the separation of powers by giving the governor legislative authority.

Those are the same arguments that were made by George Felos, the assisted suicide advocate who is the lead attorney for Terri's estranged husband Michael.

Governor Bush has already instructed his attorneys to file an appeal in the case to the 2nd District Court of Appeal. By doing that, Bush ensures that the feeding tube remains in place while the appeal is being considered.

Jacob DiPietre, a spokesman for Governor Bush, told the Associated press that Bush wants to "continue to defend the constitutionality of this law."

However the appeals court has previous ruled in Michael's favor allowing him to disconnect the feeding tube and end Terri's life.

Pat Anderson, an attorney for Terri's parents Bob and Mary Schindler said she was disappointed by not surprised by Baird's ruling.

Nancy Valko, a representative of Nurses for Life, is a leading monitor of end-of-life issues.

"One of the terrible ironies of Terri's case is that so many organizations purporting to protect civil and constitutional rights are on the other side," Valko said. "Just where is the constitutional and civil right to be killed?"

While most media outlets report that Terri Schiavo collapsed in 1990 as a result of a potassium imbalance, Terri Schiavo may have collapsed as a result of physical abuse from her estranged husband Michael, according to the Schindlers.

A bone scan conducted on Terri in March 1991 showed she had several fractures and was the victim of "abnormal activity" that caused "previous traumas," indicating she may have been beaten or abused.

Doctors selected by the Schindlers have reviewed Terri's medical records.

They found that a heart attack did not cause Terri's collapse, Pamela Hennesy, a representative of Terri's family, said. Rather, according to one physician, Terri may have been a strangulation victim.
