Uh...who else. Sorry, I'm drawing a blank.

You forgot Dennis! (Kucinich). He's still running. I just drove by his campaign "headquarters" (read: hole in the wall) a few days ago.

We call scum like McCain, RINOs (Republican in name only). There is a reason he is admired by the left and the media, because he is a self-serving scumbag. He attacked the First Amendment with the sham called "campaign finance reform."

Well, I'm an optimist. Extrapolating from my fewer than 24 hours here, I predict a warm, cozy relationship with you Freepers, based on mutual respect and the shared goal of wanting what's best for America. Right? RIGHT?

Kucinich's politics are probably the closest to mine

I don't think you'd feel that way if you, like I, have had the "benefit" of seeing first-hand the results of his policies.

As a representative, he's a disaster. As an executive, he's even worse.

Hey, I remember when little Dennis was destroying Cleveland in the 70's... that's a sure resume builder for wanting to be Prez. I mean, if you can't govern the mistake on the lake...

LOL!
Tilting at windmills.
Well, you can come to NY state, real educational at times.
Sometimes it's extremely hard to distinguish between the two parties here.
Like, the town board where the Republicans propose to raise taxes and the Democrats have a heart attack about it.
(It's usually the other way around in most town boards here.)

I've been waiting for Rod Serling to show up and do a short narration about it for some time now.
Good luck out your way, and yeah, I know this has been a largely irrelevant post by me.
*chuckle*
Just dropping by to say Hi and Welcome to FR.

Some really decent, good persons are Democrats or even liberals - but for the most part, they are naieve individuals who really believe the government can solve all of our problems and that people are basically good, and all foreign leaders can be taken at their word like gentlemen and that any other society or culture is equal to ours.

The rest, the majority, are a bunch of vindictive, narrow-minded, power-hungry, historically challenged individuals or elitist super-rich neo-aristocrats who inherited their fortunes instead of working for them.

I like Clarke and would happily vote for him.

Ah, so you're one of those folks who believe that a man who:

- On three separate occasions during the Kosovo campaign, tried to provoke war with Russia

- Was sacked early

- Whose character was subsequently called into question by senior generals in the army

- And whose most memorable moment from his campaign was calling for his press secretary because he couldn't field a simple question from a reporter.

Is somehow presidential timber.

Yep, you've got the right mix of idiocy and oblivion to be a Dem voter.

He turned it into the mistake on the Lake, before him it was more of a small error, a typo really, but after he bankrupted it, it became a huge mistake.

Of course we welcome 'Rats. 'Rats are the other Other White Meat...

To dispense with your arguments...

...assaults the environment... There have been none. Not a single standard has been lowered and several have been strengthened. The US environment is cleaner than it has ever been, by every available measure, since pre-industrial times.

...rising unemployment... This week's unemployment figures should dispense with that one.

...rising gas prices... Gas prices go up every year as we approach Summertime, and this year is no different. If you will recall, gasoline was averaging over $2.00 a gallon in the Summer of 2002. Adjusted for inflation, gasoline is cheaper now than it was before the price shocks of 1972.

...rising hatred of us across the globe... I guess all of those idiots started planning back in the 1990s to run airplanes into our skyscrapers because they loved us...

...a phony war with over 700 Americans dead... We've liberated two countries and 30 Million people. Not a bad piece of work for a "phony" war. Of course every soldier is precious, but to achieve so much with only 700 dead has to be one of the most lobsided military victories in the history of mankind.

...POW torture... POWs were humiliated and abused, but not tortured. If you are going to say such things, you should endeavor to be precise in you language. As far as the abuse is concerned, those responsible will be found out and punished. That's good enough for me.

...overtime pay almost done away with... I still get my OT. Some jobs were reclassified, but you can't stick with you employment models from the 1950's forever, you know. A couple of things have changed since Eisenhower's day.

...the list goes on and on. It's CRAZY... The list of BS from the 'Rats does go on and on, but I fail to see the substance of any of it.

Now if you will excuse me, my IQ has dropped five points just reading your drivel. I gotta go over to instapundit and get a few back.

"of the democratic persuasion". You mean you are a "democrat" which is not synonymous with "democratic".

Yep. Sorry, Spock ! They took Joe down before you could do a mind meld
to find out what he had on his mind.

But you're better off for that. You would have likely died laughing !

My wife's sister's fiance hated cats.

Finally he went down to Oregon from Seattle for the visit with Mom.

For some reason, he left his suitcases open in his assigned bedroom.

Momma kitty obligingly made both liquid and solid deposits.

He was exceedingly far from amused!
