The Cop's Cheer was the first time for me

I wished I'd of seen when y'all had thar Secret Service guard doubling over with laughter whe you did the cheer outside the White House back then.

I guess I missed the "fun Years" for the DC Chapter! :O)

I had buttons made up with the "Cop's Cheer" printed on them and we handed them out at the White House along with other buttons. Word got out pretty fast and soon I was being approached by one or two officers at a time (all law enforcement services included). They usually began with, "I hear you've got a button . . ." I handed out a fistful of the Cop's Cheer buttons one morning -- of course, they were just examples of our handouts for evidentiary or informational purposes. LOL

The DC Chapter members kept mum about these types of stories because we didn't want to get any of the officers in trouble with the powers that be in the White House at the time. But, we have lots of similar stories from our years in front of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

The best times for America, and for the DC Chapter, are yet to come!
