I've never seen the president in person, don't feel the need to, but am always happy for those who do get the opportunity. I've been tracking him since he first ran for governer in Texas, and one thing has stood out for me that has been enduring -- he's got a lot of wisdom and smarts, and he loves this nation with all his heart.

SBM Old Sarge has written a really REALLY good poem about our Cin C and it needs to get out on the internet......Or at least be distributed amoung FR....Where can he post it to get maximum coverage......The ARTS are man's oldest form of activism.....and since it goes along with this story ......again, where can he post it that is VERY visable?
OS! That should help!

Please see the poem in Old Sarge's reply #182. He owuld like to post it as a separate thread. Please advise where it should be posted.
Old Sarge, if it goes to general interest a lot of us could use our ping lists to see that it gets more coverage.

LOL! If you say you have to go do yard work in a minute, I will definitely think things are spooky!

I'm humbled to death, by the two of you!
I shall be only too glad to do this, once I learn where to go.
Thank you!

A far cry from the previous occupant of the White House. Yep. If 9-11 had happened on Bubba's watch, he'd be saying, "Hey, honey! Over here and let me give you a little hug!" for far different reasons.

I shudder to think of the lip-biting crocodile-tearing exhibition Bubba would have put on after 9/11!

I dropped into Drudge and saw this pic on the front page....hadn't read the story yet...and already my eyes were filled with tears!
This man is the REAL thing..through and through!
I love him!
God bless President Bush and God Bless America!

Thanks for the link to the story about the President jogging with a soldier who lost his leg.
I thought I kept up with all the news and I had never heard that story. Of course the mainstream media would never report it.
I saved it for future use.

Empathy
A certain former president
Could really 'feel your pain'
But it wasn't real
He left a stain
How could anybody
Have not seen his corruption?
He was a walking
Bimbo eruption
But thank God we now
Have a new day
We got a decent man
Who doesn't play that game

"He left a stain" ROTFLMAO! Very nice!

Too bad this photo isn't on the front page of every newspaper. I say that's a good thing. It will keep the cynics from trying to say that this was staged for the media.

Isn't it wonderful that DRUDGE has this picture/report up? I emailed him to say thanks! Now who cares if the mainstream media picks it up or not. The world is seeing it today!
